Recycled Incineration Bottom Ash and Metakaolin as Sustainable Materials for Cement Replacement in Cementitious Composites

Abstract Study was related to the influence of concrete properties by using different percentages metakaolin and fixed percent incineration bottom ash partially replace cement. Cement is a well-known building material used for construction in world. Moreover, (MK) (IBA) this research would give significance our environment as it can reduce usage cement concrete. By ash, could land filling space. The X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) test determine chemical composition IBA MK. Four series have been examined, including control, MK were partial replacement at 10%IBA + 10%MK, 15%MK 20%MK mixes volume. curing period samples 7 days 28 days. To concrete, tests such slump test, density water absorption pulse velocity rebound hammer compression performed. results proved that strength development 10%MK sample shows highest compressive after curing.
